In the University, the basic and applied scientific research is conducted by the specialized departments and by the set-up research centres:
■ Centre for Research and Consultancy in Internal and International Economic Affairs Management - Pitești, whose scientific field of activity is related to the introduction of performance management in the Romanian economy.
■ Centre for Regional and International Studies in Pitești, whose scientific field aims at research, analyses and documentation relating to significant events and trends of contemporary international relations and at conducting studies on specific themes of globalization and regionalism
■ Centre for Research in Finance and Accounting - Pitești
■ Centre for Research on Tourism and Sustainable Development - Râmnicu Vâlcea
■ Centre for Research on Economic and Social Issues - Brăila
■ Centre for Student Research.
