The International Relations Department of
“Constantin Brâncoveanu” University
The office began its activity in 2005, when submitting to the European Commission the first accreditation application in the university of the European mobility program for students and teachers, ERASMUS.
Acquiring this accreditation, three months later, by giving Erasmus University Charter STANDARD, opened the way to concluding bilateral agreements with institutions of higher education in the European Union space for sharing best practices, joint research projects and inter-university mobility.
In 2007, by the International Relations Department, "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University received a new accreditation from the European Commission for the same types of activities.
Recently, the university has been granted "Erasmus University Charter EXTENDED" which allows mobilities for students to study, internships in European companies, teaching and training mobilities for teachers and also mobilities for training administrative staff.
The main objectives of the International Relations Department:
- initiating and developing international academic cooperation agreements;
- promoting the European dimension of higher education;
- achievement of common modules in collaboration with foreign institutional partners;
- coordination of student mobility and support to students interested in them;
- development of Erasmus Placement / Internship designed to train students in professional terms;
- facilitating the involvement of students and teachers in the process of accessing an Erasmus scholarship.
