COUNSELING AND CAREER INFORMATION CENTER
To support the integration of students and graduates on the labour market, the university has set up since 2002 the Counseling and Career Information Center, a structure that guides students in choosing the optimal path of study in the fields of study or university cycles, as well as their vocational training in the labour market.
The centre activity targets two categories of beneficiaries: on the one hand, the work bidders, university-trained professionals in line with current market requirements, and the potential employers on the other hand, applicants for highly trained workforce, having a professional profile in accordance with corporate needs.
The services available to students and graduates refer to the information regarding the labour market, the existing job offers and the development trends of all businesses in the community. Also, counseling services target the guidance of university students and graduates to be aware of the importance of career planning, helping them to achieve a real and objective skill and personal boundaries self-assessment, and the acquisition of knowledge regarding the ways of search, inquiry, employment and retention of jobs.
The second goal of the Centre targets businesses, the potential employers, who represent the labour applicants. They are constantly connected with the University, and make their needs known in terms of specialized staff and also the directions and areas for development and hence their improvement. The services offered are: the popularization of personal application (job application) and recommendations (Database containing professional profiles of the counseled persons).
