Brâncoveanu University received the visit of two representatives of its
international partners - PhD Raimundas Kalesnykas, dean of the Faculty
of Law from the International School of Law and Business in Vilnius,
Lithuania and PhD Gintautas Bareikis from Vilnius College of Higher Education .
Thursday, the 14th of April 2011, Constantin Brâncoveanu University hosted a major event for the business environment of Arges County. Romania's Prime Minister, Emil Boc, and several other minister such as Elena Udrea, the Minister for Regional Development and Tourism, Gheorghe Ialomițeanu, the Minister of Finance and Traian Igaș, the Minister of Internal Administration met with the local business men.
Saturday, the 9th of April, beginning with 11.30, at Constantin Brâncoveanu University in Brăila took place a scientific symposium called The Right to Social Assistence .
The event was organized during the days dedicated to Social Work by the
National Body of Social Workers in Romania that partnered with different
other institutions to organize a range of activities devoted to this
field.
Constantin Brâncoveanu University ,
through the International Relations Office signed new bilateral
agreements with several European universities that became partners of
CBU. The new agreements, in the total of 9, increased the number of
mobilities offered by CBU within the Erasmus framework to 135 places
directed at bachelor and master students, 32 places directed at teachers
and 19 places offered to the administrative staff.
CBU's Rector, Ph. D. Professor Alexandru Puiu was awarded on the 16th of February with the Virgil Madgearu Diploma and Gold Medal by the Academy of Economical Sciences in Bucharest and its Senate. This medal honors the professor's dedication to higher education and his constant initiativ
