An authentic student life couldn't be understood without extracurricular activities that aim to complete harmoniously, young people personality. From cultural and social activities to creation workshops, sports competitions and student parties, campus life is never boring turning the statement "Work hard, have full fun", a motto of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University.
■ Campus Communications, the creation workshop
Campus Communication is a large project for students interested in press, advertising and public relations. They take advantage from a modern production studio, highly equipped, a library with specialized literature and wireless internet access. From the very beginning, Campus Communications aimed to stimulate students 'creativity, getting them involved in the design of information and promotional materials of the university, starting with posters, folders, booklets, catalogues to complex projects such as presenting films audio-video spots. "Dialog studențesc Brâncovenesc" is a weekly newspaper exclusively produced by Campus Communications, made up by students form students and it is a real chance to launch future jurnalists, writing analising articles, interviews with different university personalities, reports , surveys and oppinion esseys.
■ Meetings with political, cultural and media personalities
Periodically, students of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University have the opportunity to interact in a more or less formal frame with academic personalities, men of culture and practitioners of written or audio vizual media, whom they may ask questions in order "to steal" the secrets of their jobs. Till now, students of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University have spoken face to face with: Ph.d. Vasile Pușcaș, Romania's negociator with the European Union, Ph.d. Răzvan Theodorescu, member of the Romanian Academy, George Grigore, professor at Foreign Languages and Literature Faculty of Bucharest University, the translator of the Koran into Romanian, Bogdan Teodorescu, political analist, Gabriela Vrânceanu Firea, journalist at Antena 3, general manager of "Financial Week", Victor Ciutacu, journalist Antena 3, National Journal, Andrei Zaharescu, journalist Antena 1, Nicolae Melinescu, press correspondent of the Romanian Television in Washington, Cristi Godinac, the chairman of Media Sind Sindical Trade Union, Dan Chișu, actor, stage manager, TV producer, Alexandru Mironov and the list may go on.
■ Estudiantina Festival, a 100% product of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University, Brăila
Taste of competition, entertainment, but also for improvement of students is always sustained by club reunions, those taking part being deeply interested in art, sport and loisir. Thus, "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University organizes chorus, literary and painting circles, theatrical circles, football teams, handball, basket teams etc.
On different important ocassions, student of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University get involved in different cultural and artistic activities and they present their achievements in a celebrating frame. In this context, Estudiantina Festival is a concept that came into being by students passion of doing memorable things with students for students of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" in Braila. This festival, started in 2004 for the first time, yearly gathers hundred of students from university and high schools during 6 days full of artistic, sports and entertainment events.


■ Competitions with and for students
Under the motto "Learn by having fun, have fun by learning", students take part in different competition periodically organized in "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University.
Oscar studentesc brancovenesc - a competition for advertising strategy and creation. Carried in four sections - creation, journalism, audio-video and design, with a proposed theme, the competition of creation and advertising strategy aimed using the competitors creative potential, improving the ability of working as part of a team and also improving presentation ability. Obviously,winners had the opportunity to step on the red carpet, to express thanks on open stage and to take photos with the big prize; an Oscar statuette in miniature!
The Management Simulator is a contemporary practice of training managerial field, by which students take over leading management of a virtual company for a determined period, ocasion by which they should cope with making important business decisions. Made up in cooperation with the Applied Sciences University in Munchen, Management Simulator, involved 17 students and 8 teachers from Management-Marketing in Economic Affairs Faculty, in Pitesti, and proved to be very useful and involving.
Challenge Dacia - project competition - by the slogan "Dacia, European company", Dacia Renault Car Factory in Pitești organized a project competition for students in "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University; students were asked to create a "Junior Enterprise" and to propose strategies for development. The five final teams were rewarded by the organizers for their inovating ideas they presented and for their effort and they were properly prised: a three days visit at Renault factories in Paris and training courses at Dacia Factory in Pitești.
Be the best with Euromall was also a project competition initiated by Euromall Pitești, on the theme - Advertising Campaign Among Citizens of Argeș County. The goal was getting 1000 euro scholarships for the most creative and the most realistic advertising campaign of Euromall in community. The representatives of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University, students Mădălina Andrei, Communication and Public Relations Department and Alina Calinciuc, International Affairs, succeeded to convince the jury made up of specialists in marketing and communications, projects that were remarkable by coherence, accuracy and originality.
■ Student's concerts and parties
Being a student in "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University does not only means attending courses and seminars, projects and reports but also spectacoles and student's parties. "Young Students Ball" organized by student's clubs became relevant events in the life of Pitești, Râmnicu Vâlcea and Brăila, the whole community looking forward for them. Among the modern artists concerting for the students and teaching staff of "Constantin Brâncoveanu" University, we can mention singers from Voltaj, Proconsul, System, D.J. Project, Loredana Groza and so many other famous names.
